The paperless hospital

A presentation of several integrated information systems, used by nurses, for the benefit of the patient, in the department of medicine in Danderyds hospital. In the film we follow the patient on its way from the pre-hospital care through the casualty department further in to the nursing ward, discharge and treatment in care of outpatients. In this way is displayed how the nurses utilise the various computerised information systems which enable the nurses to improve their: access to necessary information regarding the patient quality of documentation by enabling it to be read and criticised by others, thereby forcing every user to be correct and precise in his or her work capabilities to distribute important patient information to and from different departments. We will also show how it helps us plan and evaluate.
