摘要
A mechanism based on the concepts of the combined Kelvin-Helmholtz-Rayleigh-Taylor shear instability at the cementite/ferrite interface is proposed for the formation of micro- and nanostructures in pearlitic rail steel during long-term operation. Approximate analytical dependences of the wave number at the maximum perturbation growth rate on the external parameters are derived, and their applicability limits are determined.
