摘要
In this paper, design and implementation of a high performance power quality measuring and monitoring instrument based on embedded controller with reconfigurable I/O are discussed The system is realized according to the latest standards about Power Quality monitoring and it can be reconfigured for future standard developments. The instrument is properly implemented to operate in stand alone mode and it is interfaced with hardware modules to exchange information and data adopting RS-232 connection in local or TCP/IP communication in remote operation mode. The main advantage of realized device is the modular architecture that along with low cost confers it great versatility and flexibility to adapt itself to specific application.
