摘要
In the agricultural field, various technologies are being used. Especially, a sensor network related technology is being applied as a technology that has been receiving much attention in recent. The efficiency of MAC protocol of WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) is being studied in various aspects, and the studies on the method of applying such MAC protocol in the agricultural field are also needed. In this thesis, a situation information based MAC protocol that can be applied in the agricultural field is proposed. The proposed protocol determines transmission by analyzing the given situation unlike the existing MAC protocol. It determines the data availability of unchanged situation or that of insignificant range with no influence, and it allows the transmission of any changed volume upon comparing with the existing transmission data only in the case when the critical value mutually set with the serve is surpassed. It increases the energy efficiency through the method of decreasing the data size by delivering only the changed volume than the entire data and decreasing the transmission frequency by transmitting data only in the case when the critical value has been surpassed. To analyze the performance of the proposed protocol, a simulation was conducted based on the data measured in greenhouse.
