摘要：

Discussions concerning epistemology is the foundation of a scientific journey to discover the truth. Thus, the true view or theory of knowledge is essential to ensure that the goal of the truth can be achieved. Accordingly, al-Ghazali has outlined the four basic elements of knowledge in his Kimiya ' al-Sa'Edah. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the discussion of the four elements of this knowledge from an epistemological perspective. In general, this paper is divided into three parts, namely an introduction to Islamic Epistemology, discussion on four elements of knowledge according to al-Ghazali and its analysis from the perspective of epistemology.
