摘要
Radio coverage model analysis is an important work in wireless communication. When using the traditional method to predict the field strength of radio wave propagation model, the calculation procedure involves lots of complex and high intensity work, and the result is often inaccurate. In this paper, several major radio propagation models are introduced, compared and analyzed. We use the radio wave coverage model as the basic model to describe the radio coverage model supported by GIS technology. Taking the advantage of GIS in spatial information, a series of key technologies that need to be solved in the model, including the radio wave coverage prediction, station planning, data management, statistics analysis, are analyzed. Thus, a radio wave coverage model based on the GIS platform is established.
