摘要
The design of a balance with a magnetically suspended mobile section and the results of experimental studies of such a balance are discribed. The principle of operation of this balance is based on counterbalancing the weight of the loaded mobile section with the force of a controlled magnetic field. The balance design makes it possible to continuously and automatically monitor weight (without any mechanical contact with it) by measuring the current flowing through the electromagnet. The absolute error of measurements is 0.02 mg when a mass no larger than 0.5 g is measured.
