Controller synthesis for a system of conservation laws

摘要
In the paper there is considered a benchmark application for control in co-generation composed of a steam turbine with one steam extraction connected to the steam consumer by a long steam pipe. It is discussed the linearized model starting from the conservation laws of the barotropic fluid and the Saint Venant model of the subcritical flow. The model validation relies on the association of a system of functional differential equations of neutral type. For the last system the inherent stability is discussed and a control Liapunov functional is constructed allowing feedback controller synthesis. There is presented also the analysis of the closed loop system thus obtained.
