摘要
Forschungszentrum Julich has been giving particular attention to the high-end 3D multiphysics modelling of complete SOFC systems, including all auxiliary components such as the fuel cell stack, afterburner, heat exchanger, pre-reformer and baffle plates. Our previous model has been developed so that the current emphasis of research has been given to the 3D design optimisation of the fuel cell system in terms of thermomechanical behaviour. The long-term steady state operation has been the focus. Coupled CFD/FEM is used to predict the thermofluid flow and heat radiation, electrochemical and chemically reacting species transport, as well as the thermomechanics, including the long-term creep behaviour and elastoplasticity.
