The structure of the roper resonance

摘要
Pion-nucleon scattering is investigated within a meson-exchange model which includes all those reaction channel that can decay into two pions and a nucleon. The Roper resonance N*(1440), in this model, turns out to be a quasibound state of two pions correlated in a relative S-state and the nucleon.
