摘要
History of wireless technology has witnessed many fabulous ideas. Wireless power transfer (WPT) is one among them. Rectenna is an essential part in WPTcircuitry. A step by step approach is followed to develop 4x4 rectangular and 2x2 circular microstrip patch antennas for Rectenna. Simulated 2x2 circular patch antenna arrays at 5.8 GHz consumes large space and unacceptable return loss. The proposed 4x4 rectangularantenna array deigned at 35GHz achieves a gain of 23dB and return loss of -42.4dB at 35.25GHz.
