摘要
As construction project management's requirements on informationization are increasing, many project information platforms have been explored such as PIP (Project Information Portal). These project information platforms provide environments in which information intercommunion and collaboration can be carried out by all participants of the project. However, these project information platforms' functions emphasize particularly on project document management, instantaneous information intercommunion, project collaboration and working procedure management. The cost information provided by them can't satisfy modem project management's requirement. Based on Total Cost Management's theory and PIP's structural characteristics, a information platform, which covers project life cycle (project planning and decision, project implementation, project operation and maintenance), includes all participants (government departments, professional associations, clients, design institutes, contractors, supervision companies, consulting units and so on), and deals with total cost factors (project construction cost and cost on time, quality, safety and environment protection etc.), is designed, and Construction Project Cost Information Platform's scheme and running model is proposed in this paper.
