摘要：
As the software pattern community grows, the documentation of new or proto-patterns is becoming a problem, The structural representation of a software pattern changes from author to author, making it difficult for readers and reviewers to understand the patterns. In addition, it is difficult for software developers to find the patterns that are relevant to their designs. In this paper, we describe an XML declaration for the specification of software patterns using XML. By creating the specification, we provide an adaptable structure to represent a soft,are pattern that is easy for the pattern's authors to use and pattern readers to understand. Moreover, with XML logs embedded within a software pattern, it creates the potential an Internet search tool to use the information to help software developers locate the patterns that they need.
