摘要
It has been suggested that the ideal vaccine for canine parvovirus type-2 would be effective even in high risk breeds, including the Rottweiler. The approved USDA labeling for the new generation canine parvovirus type-2 vaccines allows for the last puppy dose to be administered at 12 weeks of age which is much earlier than what had been recommended in the various dog breeds and especially the high-risk breeds. This study was conducted to determine the performance of a new generation canine parvovirus type-2 vaccine (Progard(R) Vaccine:Intervet, Inc., Millsboro, DE) in Rottweiler puppies.
