摘要
Background: Emotion dysregulation is associated with many mental disorders. Objective: This study aimed to explore the reliability and validity of the German version of the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS) in adolescents. Method: The sample consisted of a school sample of 324 adolescents (M = 15.15 years, SD = 1.14, 57% female) and a clinical sample of 97 adolescents (M = 16.25 years, SD = 1.28, 83 % female). To validate the DERS, other questionnaires were completed. Confirmatory factor analysis and exploratory structural equation modeling (ESEM) were applied. Results: The DERS demonstrated excellent internal consistency in the school and the clinical sample. The ESEM resulted in a six-factor model and an additional factor consisting of reverse-scored items. Conclusion: The results provide support for the use of the German DERS version.
