摘要：
FTIR spectra of CH3 CH2 Br and CD3CH2Br are presented, and are compared with computed spectra using the HYPER CHEM program. An accidental near-equality of two moments of inertia may suggest the appearance of a symmetry that is inconsistent with the actual molecular structure.
