摘要
The objective of the paper is to identify relationships among crucial labour market macroeconomic indicators, such as wages, labour cost, productivity in line with gross domestic product and foreign direct investments. The study focuses on the new European Union member states using the Granger causality test. Similar causalities were confirmed among the most of observed countries. Some particularities can be explained by specific monetary strategies. The paper was elaborated within the project VEGA 1/0973/11. (C) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
