摘要
In the modern industry, green competitiveness is a key issue to ensure the harmony of global society, economy and environment. The paper aims to find empirical approach to quantify green competitiveness for metallurgical enterprises. This work focuses on investigating the factors that affect sustainable development and green environment in order to develop green competitiveness evaluation analysis indicators. The Indicators describes three areas: environmental development trends in metallurgy; scale of the industry impact on the environment; economic parameters of the interaction between industry and ecology. The mechanism of an integrated assessment of enterprise sustainability considered as a process of selecting the optimal methods of continuous monitoring, allowing industrial enterprise to work effectively and develop sustainability over a long period of time. The processes include collecting data, monitoring the dynamics in the enterprise position and identify trends in its development. The most important advantage of the mechanism is that the weight of accessories business to a certain class of solutions can be viewed as the probability of sustainability, inherent in this group of companies. Results based on analysis green competitiveness of 5 metallurgical enterprises within Russia show that competitive environmental strategies can help optimize the economic return on environmental investments and transform these investments into sources of competitive advantage.
