摘要
Using an immersive virtual reality system can aid in the interpretation of 3D echocardiographic datasets. Two studies undertaken at the Erasmus MC show that investigating this type of data in a virtual environment that allows the users to perceive depth and interact with the volume rendered data in an intuitive manner, improves the understanding of anatomical structures such as heart valves.
