Simulation Research on Vibration Energy Recycle of an Electric Car

摘要
The deficiency of the endurance mileage has become the main obstacle for electric car. Shock absorber is an important component to consume vibration energy of suspension system, which is transferred to heat energy during driving. Due to the increasing temperature in the absorber, the lifetime is shortened consequently. Ride comfort and safety of the car are also affected negatively. By simulation calculation, energy consumption values of the vibration absorber and influence factors are given under some driving conditions. The potential of vibration energy recycle is also validated. The simulation results show that the consumption energy of absorber reaches over 20% of the motor energy. So it is much valuable to research on this problem.
