摘要
This research makes an assessment of major technological innovations in the area of monitoring and supervision of power systems with emphasis on hydroelectric plants. Fundamental seeks to develop a strategy for their inclusion in existing monitoring systems, based on the needs of the plants associated with the incidence of faults and their diagnosis to detect its root cause and location. This will formulate the criteria and the conditions necessary to establish what changes should be made to make them intelligent systems, with autonomy for automatically controlling physical quantities, mechanical and electrical, allowing efficient analysis and diagnosis in real time. These innovations produce a prediction of future disturbances with sufficient precision, relying on mathematical signs and model processes, ensuring greater availability of power plants and safe operation, economical and reliable of them and consequently the electrical system in general.
