(p)over-bar-p annihilation: Manifestations of the instanton-induced pair production of quarks?

摘要：
The qualitative features of strangeness production in <(p)over bar p> annihilation are discussed. Their explanation as manifestations of a nonperturbative QCD mechanism ('t Hooft vertex) is proposed. Predictions amenable to experimental tests are made.
