Research on Nursing Process Management

While the "patient - oriented" concept has been becoming more popular in health care management, the traditional care management model used in China has revealed its weaknesses gradually, such as complicated care - provider hierarchy, ambiguous individual's responsibilities in one's health care team, slow responsiveness and low efficiency during the whole care management. The focus of care management model should change from specific nursing techniques to advancing and innovating the process. This paper analyzes the weaknesses of existing care management model in China's health care system, researches the potential of applying the "process - management" care management model, and proposes ideas for improving the existing nursing process.
