摘要
The nature of alpha-alpha boundaries formed as the result of heat treatment of a Zr-2.5Nb alloy has been studied by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The beta-->alpha transformation in the alloy has a near Burgers orientation relationship and on heal treatment this leads to a number of low-angle and high-angle near-coincidence alpha-alpha boundaries. In this presentation we will focus on the characterization of a near-coincidence Sigma 13 boundary which has been frequently observed.
