Management issues in technology adoption and implementation: An international study

Internationally, increasing attention has been given to the importance of innovation as a mechanism for economic growth We seek to examine best practice for the implementation of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT). Many organisations can respond to a crisis, especially if it is severe enough, and manage a successful implementation of new technology to overcome the crisis. What is far more important is whether or not they can achieve continuous, successful technology implementation without being in a crisis situation. This requires us to identify best practice technology management, to provide goals for organisations and government.
