摘要
Proton conducting polymer electrolytes based on blend polymer using Poly Vinyl Alcohol (PVA) and Poly Acrylo Nitrile (PAN) doped with ammonium nitrate have been prepared by solution casting method. The highest conductivity at room temperature (305K) has been found to be 1.8x10(-3) S cm(-1) for 15 mole % NH4NO3 doped PVA-PAN system. X ray Diffraction pattern of the doped and the undoped blend polymer electrolyte confirms the amorphous nature of blend polymer, when salt is added. The complex formation between the blend polymer and the salt has been confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
