摘要
The textile mill is facing the continuously development of the production scale, more and more fierce market competition and much greater challenge of different customers' requirement. It is of great necessity for the textile mill to adopt the asset management. The asset management is a systematic process of planning, maintaining, upgrading, and operating physical assets cost-effectively and also an important part for the textile mill in organizing production. The developing of good asset information management system is potent activity to improve the competition of the textile mill. This paper proposes the asset management by means of an UML methodology. In this methodology the processes are divided into two phases. And in each phase we give and discuss the essential concepts and modeling diagrams of the system such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams and component diagrams. The incorporation of UML into model analysis for asset management is considered and shown to be practicable.
