Curvature and Slope Correction in High-Frequency Diffraction at Thin Dielectric Layers

摘要
Finding the higher-order terms for the electromagnetic diffraction at a thin dielectric layer is reduced to a sequence of standard 1D boundary-value problems (BVPs) of a certain type. The solvability and the uniqueness of solution for such BVP are proven. The higher-order terms for the curvature and slope correction are obtained in the closed form. Numerical results are verified by a comparison with the data computed with an accurate method.
