摘要
Network planning and optimization is a major issue for telecom carriers. An important question is to determine angles for antenna cells to improve network coverage and capacity. A methodology to optimize coverage of cells is presented. It provides optimization of tilt and azimuth angles of self-defined problematic cells. Improvement of RSRP is performed by optimizing weak and overlapping coverage. An evolutionary algorithm named Differential Evolution is utilized. Experiments show improvements of coverage in a regional area of China.
