摘要
The leading field of data mining utilizes to allot data objects to a specific group is classification. Medical image processing is associated with the scheming of automated systems to help physician diagnosis. Here, we focus on the analysis of classification techniques used in medical imaging. Classification techniques like bayesian networks, neural networks, K-nearest neighbor classifier, fuzzy logic techniques and support vector machine are used for classification of wound region. This study provides foot ulcer detection system for recognition and classification of leg ulcer wound for diabetic person. Foot ulcer is major threat to public health. Diabetes is leading diseases that need attention. Most of the diabetes patients will be facing problem of leg ulcer during their lifespan. Also a foot ulcer takes a long time to heal. People with leg ulcer are prone to have gangrene and death related to it. So study of necessary algorithms and continuous monitoring of this wound portion is needed to makes it easier and effective to detect foot ulcer and heal the patient at prior stage. Diabetic foot ulcer wound tissue detection and classification system implemented using MATLAB environment.
