Influence of Water Regulation on the Eco-environment in the Lower Reaches of the Heihe River

摘要
Water regulation has been carried out by the Heihe River Bureau since 2000, which aims at the existing eco - environmental problems in the lower reaches of the Heihe River. In order to objectively evaluate the influence of water regulation on the eco - environment., the changes of groundwater table, typical vegetation and East Juyan Lake have been analyzed in the lower reaches of the Heihe River, by means of field surveys and remote sensing. These results indicate that there exists obvious influence of water regulation on the eco - environment, and that the eco - environment is developing in a sustainable way in the lower reaches of the Heihe River.
