摘要
Highly ordered TiO2 nanotube arrays were prepared through a two-step anodization of Ti foil. XRD and FESEM experiments were performed to characterize the morphology and crystalline phase of the TiO2 nanotube arrays. The effects of potential bias and UV light intensity on photoelectrocatalysis were examined using TiO2 nanotube arrays as working electrode in photoelectrochemical measurements. The results showed that a positive potential contributed to higher responses which were linearly related to UV illumination intensities. Steady-state photocurrent was employed as response signal in detecting the organic compounds to demonstrate the suitability of the TiO2 nanotube arrays for organics-sensing application.
