摘要：
The atomic force microscope has created a revolution in imaging by providing resolution at the atomic level. Until this time, the instrument has operated at the solid-gas interface, but the capability of measurement at the solid-liquid interface described in this article promises an enormous number of new applications from life science research to AC in food processing.
