摘要
The characteristics of recent medical information system construction are expansion of the target range and short delivery, so medical information system development institutions are essentially abandoning conventional software development methodology in order to develop a system of large scope in a short time period. However, this does not contribute to the improvement of productivity in terms of software development and is causing serious side effects regarding quality. Therefore, there is a need to tailor the conventional software development methodology to fit the medical information system establishment environment in order to improve upon both productivity and quality for the software development. And, while existing research has focus on tailoring of any specific method, this paper is considered as differentiated from the existing research for the point of tailoring with the method with the subject of specific business type. Taking into consideration that the condition varies greatly for each medical institution, processes and products were categorized into those that needed to be applied and those that were to be applied selectively. The selectively applicable processes and products were organized according to six rules.
