摘要
The dimensions of the paradigmatic innovation of city governance systematically lie in two-fold prospective: the one is external objective appeal and the other is the internal subjective needs. This article attempts to interpret the real plight of China's current city governance with the start from the view of rational goals and put forward that the service-orientated government paradigm is a new option for urban-governance of a harmonious society. The concrete dimensions of paradigmatic innovation are as followed: (1) Construct an Integration of scope of scientific development into the concept of urban governance to sustainable eco-government. (2) Construct the transparent and flat government with the utilization of modem information technology towards bureaucracy. (3)Construct a democratic and participation-orientated government by promoting the social development through the diversification of governmental subjects. (4) Construct a righteous and efficiency-orientated government transformed from efficiency hunting to social equity stressing.
