摘要
Recycled aggregates become more and more important as potential raw material to replace aggregates from natural origin. Some countries have already imposed restrictions on the excavation of gravel and sand for the riverbed. They have done so for reasons of erosions of the riverbed which in turn could lead to flooding problems after heavy rainfall. Since there is a lot of sand used in traditional sand-cement screed, fine recycled aggregates come into view to replace natural sand in trying to reduce the need for sand in screed. This is a way of contributing to a sustainable material management in the building industry. This paper presents some test-results of using fine recycled concrete as a partial replacement of natural aggregates in cement-based flowscreed. Experimental results indicate that it is possible to prepare flowscreed with partial replacement of natural aggregates by recycled aggregates and obtain a quality that meets the set requirements. The practical application of this material is also discussed. This study was partially connected to the research-project RecyFlowscreed.
