Research and Improvement of Aircraft Rerouting Method Based on Flight Forbidden Areas

摘要
Severe weather affects the flight of the aircrafts. This paper classified the Flight Forbidden Areas (FFA) according to the severe weather forecast telegraph. Taking the movement of FFA into consideration, this paper provided a method to predict the position of FFA in advance, and in turn decide whether a rerouting process is needed. On the basis of research on polygon-based route planning method, a logic-based polygon rerouting method was proposed. The advantage of logic reasoning was taken to avoid redundant inputs. This paper applied the proposed method to a set of data and made comparisons of results with traditional methods. Results show that the method proposed in this paper is easy to use and implement.
