摘要
The aim of this study was to develop a patient on hemodialysis resilience scale and to verify validity and reliability. This patient on hemodialysis resilience scale (PHRS) was developed according to the scale development process by DeVellis (2017). Thirty-one publications on the subject were reviewed, and in-depth interviews with seven patients on hemodialysis were conducted. Items comprising the scale were reviewed and modified through evaluation by a panel of experts and face validity. For verification of validity, a content validity index for the items, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis were performed. In the exploratory factor analysis, the PHRS was categorized into three factors: 'pursuing a positive meaning in life,' accepting hemodialysis as a part of daily life,' and 'building a willingness to live through meaningful relation.
