Polyaniline-iron titanate nanocomposites (NCs) with two contents loading of Fe2TiO5 were successfully synthesized by sol-gel technique. FTIR, XRD, SEM, STA, and VSM were used to characterize the structure and properties of the obtained NCs. The results indicated that Fe2TiO5 NPs with particle size between 25 and 75nm were distributed in PANI matrix. STA analysis indicates better thermal stability of the NCs than that of pure PANI, and the terminal degradation temperature of NCs (670 degrees C) is greater than the PANI/Fe3O4 NCs (570 degrees C). Saturation magnetizations of NCs indicated an increase of ferromagnetic interaction with more incorporation of Fe2TiO5 in PANI matrix.
