摘要
This paper presents a control strategy for small wind turbines (WTs) to enhance their dynamic support capability in microgrids (MGs). For this purpose, the paper analyses two operation cases, namely the normal mode associated with the conventional control based on maximizing the power production, and a deloading mode where the WT operates under the maximum available power. The aim is to maintain a certain power reserve (10% in this case), which can be released when necessary to support the MG during frequency transitory regimes. The results obtained by simulations in Matlab/Simulink prove the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
