Design of a three-stage electromagnetic reluctance launcher

摘要
In order to study the parameters of the emission properties of a three-stage electromagnetic reluctance launcher, the influence on the projectile exit velocity of the projectile material, a magnetic guide yoke and the stage sequence number was analyzed by experiment and simulation. The result shows that the discharge time of the pulse power can be made more accurate by detecting the projectile position, such that the power utilisation ratio and transmission efficiency are improved by use of this sensor. The exit speed can be increased by 67% as a result of the ferromagnetic material used in the projectile. To further improve the exit speed, a magnetic guide yoke was laid outside the driving coils, and the exit speed increased to 32 m/s. It was thus confirmed that these aspects could have a significant impact on the future of such launchers.
