The genus two Jacobians that are isomorphic to a product of elliptic curves

We give standard forms for the Riemann period matrices of compact Riemann surfaces of genus two whose Jacobians are isomorphic to the product of two elliptic curves, and we examine the submanifolds of the Siegel upper half space that they determine.
