摘要：
The transportation planning process in metropolitan Orlando, FL, USA-site of the ITE 2004 Annual Meeting and Exhibit-is coordinated by METROPLAN ORLANDO, the areas metropolitan planning organization (MPO). This feature describes the structure of the MPO board and its advisory committees and reviews the transportation planning methodology used in the area. Various efforts to help relieve traffic congestion and create a multimodal transportation system in the area also are discussed.
