摘要：
The author discusses the statute of some function words, i.e. prepositions, in a lexicographical masterwork of the Transylvanian School, namely The Lexicon of Buda (1825). Based on an inventory of 47 articles, the paper approaches the treatment of preposition from a lexicographical perspective, highlighting their lexical, functional and discoursive values.
