Research on investment project decision support system based on data warehouse

Investment project management and decision is one of the principal business processes of enterprises, especially large-scale enterprises. It is a comprehensive process involving the data from all aspects of enterprises and needs a corresponding means of information integration and decision support. Data warehouse is an important theme-oriented data integration technology that offers decision support. And a decision support system built on the basis of data warehouse can provide investment project management with effective support. This paper explores the frame system structure and the key technologies of investment project management decision support system based on data warehouse, and illustrate its application in enterprises.
