C-band, narrow pulse, polarimetric Doppler-scatterometer for platform application

摘要
In this paper C-band (similar to 5.6GHz), polarimetric (dual polarization), narrow pulse (similar to 30ns) Doppler scatterometer is described. The scatterometer was developed for a short distance (similar to 6.5m) remote sensing application and for simultaneous and coincident measurements of water surface microwave reflective and backscattered signal's spectrum characteristics. In spite of the system was developed for a platform application, it may have successful vessel and airborne application for both land and sea surface remote sensing.
