摘要
The effect of the World Health Organization category of impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) on pregnancy outcome is controversial. between 1994 to 1996, there were 14012 deliveries in our hospital, and IGT was found in 1745 (12.5 percent). The final cohort (n=1466) of singleton pregnancies with complete data and delivered after 24 weeks of gestation were compared with women with normal OGTT results during the same period for infant outcome and perinatal complications. On multiple regression, IGT was associated with large-for-gestational age infants, low fifth-minute Apgar score, treatment for jaundice, and perinatal mortality.
