摘要
Organizational culture - a popular but also a very complex concept has been identified as an influential factor affecting the successes and failures of organizational change efforts. Many empirical organizational culture studies have been carried out in information systems research. However, culture is a very versatile concept, and there are many controversies in both defining and applying it. The paper thought that organization culture, consisting of a shared pattern of basic values, beliefs, and organizational assumptions, which is widely accepted as a powerful force to drive performance-enhancing behavior. Changing a well-established culture is a highly complex issue. It is thus very challenging to implement a new organizational culture. This article presents a framework to manage culture innovations in an organization and gave an empirical analysis on the Sinopec Wuhan Petroleum Corporation.
