Exodus, or the Voluntary Prisoners of Architecture is a response by Rem Koolhaas (et at.) to the competition proposed by Casobello in 1972. The project serves as a validation of the architect's courses at the AA School. This utopian tale, with the help of montages and collages, relates the rescue of a decadent city by architecture, a tabula rasa containing between two interminable walls the ten elements (ten squares) which are supposed to build a harmonious urban society.
