The Hypenodinae are distributed only in the old world, including the temperate zone of eastern Asia. This study was conducted to review the subfamily Hypenodinae, in which the members have been placed under the different higher taxa. A total of 13 species including one new subspecies under 7 genera of two tribes are recognized from Korea in this study. Among them, one new subspecies, Micreremites pyraloides pyraloides ssp. n., is described as new to science and one species Hypenodes turfosalis Wocke, 1850 was treated to synonymize H. humidalis.
